Future load growth should be considered deliberately. Excessive oversizing adds cost and losses, while insufficient margin can force premature replacement or major reconfiguration.

Before energization, the project should have an approved single-line diagram, protection settings, equipment labels, test records and a documented switching procedure. Earthing results and cable/termination checks should be recorded rather than treated as informal site knowledge.
