How to compare a generator brand quotation
Two quotations carrying the generator brand name can still use different engine models, alternators, controllers, acoustic packages, breakers and assembly standards. The model references on the quotation are therefore more useful than the brand name by itself.
Ask whether the stated output is prime or standby, what ambient assumptions apply, which alternator and controller are included, and whether the warranty covers the complete genset or only selected components. For imported equipment, verify the local parts and service route before purchase.
